Exhibition: Streets of Identity at the Instituto Cervantes

We are happy to share some images and vídeo taken at the opening of the exhibition 'Streets of Identity' that started on the 9th of March at the Instituto Cervantes in Manchester.

Streets of Identity is a comment on the concepts of culture, imagination and memory and the way they contribute towards identity in society bringing together the work of five photographers Roxana Allison (‘Becoming a Memory’), Pablo Allison (‘Angel’), Susana Sanroman (‘In Transitum’), Santiago Carrion (‘The Promised Land’) and Virginie Anne Hebert (‘The Art of Play’). Through the photographic media, each photographer explores and expresses different ideas and opinions on a subject that touches each and everyone. The five projects presented have been produced in the UK, Mexico, Spain and France, sometimes tackling controversial issues. They are a token of the rich diversity of the Collective’s visions.

Centrepoint Collective would like to thank all the people that came to the show. We hope you enjoyed the night. We would also like to thank the Instituto Cervantes Manchester for the kind support provided. The exhibition will run until the 20th of April at the Instituto facilities on Deansgate.
